1. Scope
How we collect, use, store, share and protect personal data when you use HomeDash (marketplace, chat, scheduling, electronic EAA forms, CRM tools and Agency Sites).
2. Data We Collect
- Account & profile: name, email, phone, language, role (buyer/tenant/owner/agent/agency).
- Property & documents: listing details, photos/video, ownership proofs/ratings bills (where provided), e-Viewing Sheets and EAA Forms 1–6 artifacts.
- Usage & device: logs, IP, device identifiers, cookies.
- Communications: masked chat content, timestamps, contact-reveal status, viewing bookings/outcomes.
- Billing: limited subscription/per-use metadata processed by payment processors.
- KYC/licensing: EAA licence numbers, company proofs, Land Registry lookups (where applicable).
3. Sources Of Data
Provided by you, generated by your use of our services, or obtained from partners (agencies, payment, KYC or hosting providers) as necessary.
4. Purposes Of Use
- Provide and improve search, masked chat, contact reveals, scheduling, electronic EAA forms and analytics.
- Verify identities, combat fraud/abuse, compute trust/reputation metrics.
- Quota management, billing (per-use fees), customer support and incident response.
- Product analytics and A/B testing; security monitoring.
- Direct marketing of HomeDash features and relevant property content with your consent (e.g. product updates, property content, training invites). You may opt-out at any time.
- Disclosure as required by law or court
5. Mandatory Or Optional Data
Some data is necessary to deliver the services (e.g. contact details for scheduling; proofs to verify a listing). Without it, certain features may not function.
6. Retention (Headline Schedule)
- Viewing media uploads: 60 days (unless you keep them longer or request deletion).
- Chat & booking metadata: 24 months.
- Account & billing records: 7 years.
- EAA forms e- & e-Viewing Sheets: as required by law/industry practice (typically 7 years).
- Security logs: 12 months. We delete or anonymise after the period unless a longer retention is required by law or for dispute resolution.
7. Disclosure & Transfers
We may share data with payment processors, KYC providers, analytics vendors, messaging providers and hosting partners, only for the purposes above and to such extent only. Data may be transferred outside Hong Kong (e.g. Hong Kong, Singapore, EU) with appropriate safeguards.
8. Security
PII is encrypted in transit and at rest; access is role-based and logged. No method is 100% secure.
9. Your Rights & How To Exercise Them
You may request access to and correction of personal data we hold about you, and opt-out of direct marketing at any time. To make a request, email info@homedash.hk with: (1) your account email/phone, (2) description of the data sought, (3) proof of identity. We normally respond within 40 days and may charge a reasonable fee for data access per the PDPO. Check if we keep any personal data of you.
10. Cookies/Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences and analytics. You can manage cookies in your browser; some features may not work if cookies are disabled.
11. Children
Our services are not intended for children under 18.
12. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD). We encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve your concern quickly.

We will post updates here and indicate the effective date.
